Partnerships: Community Mapping and Healthy Collaboration in Global Child Welfare
This training course is part of the Core Elements of Success in OVC Care program. It is targeted toward supporting NGOs serving vulnerable children and families, but principles may apply more broadly. Ideally, it will be used in conjunction with the Core Elements Self-Assessment and other Core Elements training courses.
No one program can meet all needs of vulnerable children and families. If we are to serve this population with excellence, collaboration is required. Healthy partnerships allow two or more parties to make a bigger impact together than they can make by themselves- our impact will be multiplied. However, in the context of unhealthy partnerships, our impact can be destroyed. This training module provides a framework for planning and protecting healthy partnerships.
